After a cup of coffee in 2014 with the Dominican Summer League Padres, Dinelson Lamet has shown great improvement with his game.  Ranked as the Padres #17 prospect by Baseball America, he spent Spring Training working on his change-up and mechanics with Storm pitching coach, Glendon Rusch.

In 12 starts thus far, he has pitched 65 innings with 54 strikeouts, 26 walks, and an ERA of 2.35.

Shortly after this interview, Lamet was promoted to the Texas League with the San Antonio Missions.

We spoke briefly to Dinelson about the 2016 season.  A few words from Padres prospect Dinelson Lamet.
